The Challenge
In this glass project in London, our client needed help to fit a glass sliding door. As this was a key part of their private glass office and the last step before their new workspace was complete, our client was keen to work with a reliable team of glass partitioning contractors. With our expertise, our client could trust that we could provide the perfect solution and complete the project to the best possible standard.
Having undertaken an initial site survey, we were able to identify an installation challenge to avoid any mishaps later down the road. Mainly, we noted that the structure of their existing commercial ceiling didn’t have the strength to support a sliding glass door mechanism. We therefore needed to use our experience and innovation to find an alternative, affordable solution.
The Solution
To combat the challenge we faced with the installation of our client’s internal glass door, we recommended a 3/4 hung mechanism. Once fitted, this would hold the weight of the sliding door as it would instead by supported by the glass partitions and the floor, rather than the office ceiling.
We ensured that our client’s new glass door was a perfect match for their existing glass partitions. This ensured that their glass office had a smart and seamless finish.
Having found a quick solution, we were able to complete the job efficiently. Our team of fitters took care not to cause any damage to the existing glass panes during the glass door installation.
