Glass Partitioning Case Studies

In order to provide reception staff with adequate protection, we installed glass screens in front of each desk to help stop the spread of the virus.

The Challenge

In the height of the pandemic, we provided businesses across the UK with solutions to increase the safety of their workplace. Glass provided a sanitary barrier to minimise the spread of germs. It’s easy-to-clean surface meant that many offices could easily increase the hygiene levels in their building.

This particular project involved key workers who needed a method of protection. The client came to our experts at Glass Partitioning UK for help creating a safe working environment for their reception staff during the COVID-19 outbreak. What’s more, member of the public and visitors frequently entered the building, heading straight for the reception area needed a sanitary solution too.

The Solution

Along with full-height glass office partitioning, we were able to provide our customers with smaller protective glass screens. We installed several panes into our client’s reception area, improving hygiene as staff worked behind the desk. The glass acted as a barrier that minimised the bacteria that was spread.

In addition, we also installed glass screens around the general reception area to help stop the spread of the virus and keep both team members and customers safe. This included glass queueing barriers, a one-way, social distancing system and stickers on the floor that reminded visitors of the 2-metre rule.

The pandemic was a stressful time for everyone, therefore our experienced fitters ensured we installed the glass screens quickly and with little disruption to the rest of the workplace. This meant that our client could re-open the doors to their business safely, and get back up and running again.

Whilst we’ve seen the end of the worst of the pandemic, we provide flexible solutions to protect workplaces against the unpredictability of the future. For more information about our protective glass equipment, please get in touch or visit our social distancing solutions.
