Did you know we also install our glass partitioning into homes?
In fact, glass partitions are increasingly popular within domestic buildings, and we’ve helped our customers create some truly unforgettable interior designs, such as our latest glass project.
The client got in touch with Glass Partitioning UK for help transforming their space. Our houses are incredibly personal, therefore our team faced the challenge of delivering the client’s dream home (as well as getting the glass walls through the front door!).
For this project, we installed banded glass partitioning. The safety toughened glass measured 10mm in thickness and helped to improve light and space within the home.
The fitting process began with fixing tracks to the floor and the ceiling. For this, we used black tracks (RAL 9005) that ensured the glass panes were aligned and straight. Next, our experienced team carefully manoeuvred the glass panes through the client’s front door and into the desired space. Our team has years of experience fixing glass walls into challenging spaces, therefore we were able to easily install the glass into the pre-fitted tracks.
The domestic glass partitioning began to inject character in the client’s home as we applied the banding. The industrial framed glass uses UPVC bars that cross over the glass wall and give a distinct window effect. We installed these 3mm thick bars in the same black (RAL 9005) as the tracks and also fitted a framed glass door in the same black, aluminium framework.
Our banded glass partitions suited our client’s interior scheme perfectly. This design of glass wall has a ‘Soho’ look that modernised their regal design. The client was incredibly happy with their new glass partitions and couldn’t wait to invite guests to visit.
